Association of Nigeria Women Football Club Coaches(A.N.W.F.C.C)
C.A.C:100747

Former L.O.C Chairmen

The Association was founded 1997 by some Coaches as an Amalgamation. Exco organized with the help of its members the first 5 a-side tournament for Women.

Names like Joy Nnena ETIM, Rolanson ODEH, Daniel EVUMENA are well-known members as Coaches with National Assignments.

The success of this tournament encouraged the founding members to work for a bigger 11 a-side tournament and so gave birth to the “ALL STAR’S”. The “ALL STAR’S” are since then a yearly event with players from all over Nigeria. It is the support from Coaches, who spend their holiday and work for free, to empower Nigerian Women in Football.

The “ALL STAR’S” brought players to the limelight and to the different National teams, the Flamingoes (U-17), Falconets (U-20), and Super Falcons.

Stars like Perpetual Nwocha (4-time Footballer of the year in Africa), Cynthia Uwak (2-time Footballer of the year in Africa), Vera Okolo (nominated Footballer of the year in Africa), and more than half of all players in the National teams played “ALL stars”

The Amalgamation was 2017 renamed to Association and registered by Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) with number 100747.

The Association and their work is important for all Women Football Coaches to exchange ideas and to improve their knowledge.

The players use it to showcase their talent during the “ALL STAR’S” every January in the last 28 years without a break. It is the oldest and biggest tournament in Nigerian Women Football still holding every year.

The A.N.W.F.C.C. and “ALL STAR’S” is a brand worth the support of Companies and organizations with the interest to empower Women in Nigeria.
